Step 1: Click Settings from the left navigation menu. Then click General Settings.
Step 2: Auto Pop Settings
Auto-pop means the chat window pops up when your website loads. If you turn off Auto-pop, only the bot avatar will show in the lower right corner of your website.
Embedded chat is the chatbot on your main website. Landing page is the search results page that opens when a user requests details on a property.
We recommend leaving auto-pop off on mobile, as it tends to cover the site content when the chat window auto-pops.
Step 3: Alert Subscription Options
Select the subscription options a lead will be offered for receiving New Listing Updates and Sold Alerts. SMS is only available if you have signed up for SMS service with Twilio. See Setting up Texting Service.
Step 4: Additional Settings
Require Name => Turn this on if you want the chatbot to ask the user for a name at the beginning of a conversation. The user cannot proceed without submitting a name.
Map Starting Location => Here you specify the city in your MLS where the bot landing page centers its map. If no recognizable city is provided, then the map displays the continental US.
Default Search Zip Code => If the user replies with 'any' or 'all' when asked what area they are interested in searching, this value will limit the search to the zip code you specify. This is especially helpful for large MLS's where a default search returns thousands of results. Leave this blank if you want to return all results in the MLS for an non-specific search.
Market Statistic Area (MSA) => The bot uses this text to ask the user where they are interested in searching. E.g. If you specify 'the Tri-cities area' the bot would ask, "What part of the Tri-cities area are you looking in?"
Home Button URL => This is the address for the website where your chatbot is hosted. Be sure to include http or https.
Alert Reply Email => When Automabots sends alerts to users in response to notifications they have set up, the sender email address is set to this value. That way, if the user replies, it will be received by you at this address.
Fixed Minimum Price Point => When a user only specifies a max price in a search, Automabots will automatically set a minimum price for the search. This helps to better focus the search results. The minimum price will be x% less than the maximum. So, for example, if you set the percentage at 20%, then when the user sets max price at $500K, the system will set the minimum price in the search at $400K.
Sold Alert Max Percent => When the user subscribes to sold alerts, this value sets the upper bound on home price as a percentage of the value of the user's home.
Sold Alert Min Percent => Sets the lower bound on home price.
Sold Alert Initial Radius => Searches for sold listings within the specified radius from the property address.
Listings page URL => The best value to use here is the default value. If you have a registered subdomain that you want to use for the landing page, specify that here. Otherwise, click the Default button to populate the box with the default custom value.
