Open a private window in Google Chrome and Safari: Some reasons why you might want to open up a private window is because you might want to look at a property on your website without the forced registration popping up. Also, it can help to see if an issue you are having is related to your cache or one of your extensions on your browser.
For Google Chrome, if you are on a PC, you can first hit CTRL+SHIFT+N or if you are using Chrome on a Mac it is going to be COMMAND+SHIFT+N and this will automatically open a private window. For Chrome you can also hit the 3 dots in the top right hand corner, as well, and select New Incognito Window.
In Safari, click to File in the upper left and drop to New Private Window.
You have now opened a private window.
