We are going to go over how to open a private window in both google chrome and Safari. Some reasons why you might want to open up a private window is because you might want to look at a property on your website without the forced registration popping up. Also it can help to see if a issue you are having is relating to your cache or maybe one of your extensions on your browser is causing issues this is a very easy way to tell.
For google chrome if you are on a PC first you can hit CTRL+SHIFT+N or if you are using chrome on a Mac it is going to be COMMAND+SHIFT+N and this will automatically open a private window. For chrome you can also hit the 3 dots in the top right hand corner as well and select new incognito window.
In Safari, click to File in the upper left and drop to New Private Window.
You have now opened a private window.
